Michael Newberry is an American artist who has passionately pursued art making for over fifty years. He has created works from art studios overlooking the Mediterranean in Spain and Greece, a sand- and wind-swept studio on the North Sea in Holland, as well as large classic art lofts in New York and Los Angeles. For the last decade, he has been prolific painting, drawing, and authoring books on art from his beautiful cabin nestled in a pine forest at the base of a 9,000-foot granite outcrop.

He has created over 1,500 figurative and representational artworks. His work has been shown in New York, Los Angeles, Rome, Brussels, and Athens. He has sold around 800 pieces totaling over a million dollars, beginning with a painting he sold at seventeen for $200 and culminating with a highest single sale of $90,000.
